RULES
CATEGORY

NATURE: Every day, nature gives us dreamlike landscapes and unique moments. Whether you're shooting mountain or seascapes, your goal to amaze us will be to capture the beauty that nature offers us in the world, where human intervention is almost totally absent or imperceptible.

URBAN: How can humans change any unspoiled natural landscape with their own hands and shape the urban landscape over the centuries? You will be the photographer capturing its essence: from small villages to large cities, exploring the beauty and complexity of urban environments, immortalizing the architectural wonders of every era and everyday moments where buildings become an indispensable part of the life of every individual or community.

STORIES of people: Life is wonderful in every aspect and becomes even more fascinating when a photograph manages to capture and freeze stories, whether they be looks, emotions, moments in life, tales, cultures, traditions, or everyday life, to bring them back over time.

NIGHT: How does the world appear at night, and how important is light in giving us a completely different perspective? Light, space, and time seem to merge completely, making a sunset, a city, or a sky that suddenly comes alive or fades away seem magical.

ABSTRACT: Lights, shadows, and colors, but also glimpses, textures, and settings that make a real object seem unreal. Abstract photography shows everything that departs from the natural appearances of recognizable subjects in the real world, transforming them into something unrecognizable.

AERIAL: Changing your perspective to change your understanding of the world. Aerial photography is not just a change in altitude, but a metamorphosis of the gaze: the chaos of the world is recomposed into unexpected geometries, revealing the fragility and magnificence of our planet from a privileged angle. A physical detachment that becomes an emotional connection, revealing textures and colors that only the sky can hold.
PHOTOJOURNALISM: Documenting, not interpreting. Photojournalism is the pulse of the world translated into images that are windows onto the present, created to inform, stir consciences, and remain over time as tangible evidence of our history. In this category, photography ceases to be merely an artistic expression and becomes a document: a bridge between the event and the observer. The selected shots do not seek approval, but understanding; they do not celebrate form, but the substance of a moment that deserves to be remembered and recounted.
ANALOG PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT:
THEME: #regenerate – Where the journey heals
We are looking for images that depict regeneration as a healing process. Images that show how the journey – physical, inner, or symbolic – becomes a tool for the rebirth of nature, territories, architecture, and communities. Visual stories capable of intertwining man and landscape, memory and transformation, slowness and resilience. Photographs that convey the idea of a path that heals and generates the future.
